We are Bahá’ís – members of the Bahá’ís Faith, the second most widespread of the world’s independent religions, established in 235 countries and territories throughout the world. We come from over 2,100 ethnic, racial, and tribal groups and number some 5 million worldwide.

For more than a century, Bahá’ís communities around the globe have been working to break down barriers of prejudice between peoples and have collaborated with other like-minded groups to promote the model of a global society. At the heart of our belief is the conviction that humanity is a single people with a common destiny. In the words of Bahá’u’lláh, the Founder of our Faith, “The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.”

Bahá’u’lláh taught that there is one God Who progressively reveals His will to humanity. Each of the great religions brought by the Messengers of God – Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad – represents a successive stage in the spiritual development of civilization. Bahá’u’lláh, the most recent Messenger in this line, has brought teachings that address the moral and spiritual challenges of the modern world.

We invite you to learn more about our Faith – its perspective of the past, its understanding of the present, and its vision of the future.

These photographs are meant to speak to the peoples of the world of oneness, equality and love.  We are all connected and members of one global family.  The inspiration comes from the principles of the Baha’i Faith.  Baha’i’s believe in the oneness of God, Religion and Humanity.

We believe the peoples of the world will not have peace until:

  • Women and men have equal opportunities to progress on this planet
  • We eliminate prejudice of all kinds
  • We adopt a universal auxiliary language so we can communicate with our brothers and sisters around the world
  • We realize the problems of humanity are spiritual in natural and we can’t keep putting material bandaids on the planet
  • We close the gap between the small percentage of extremely wealthy people and the far greater number of souls living in absolute poverty
  • We feel the connection that we the peoples of the world are one family
  • We don’t allow our brothers and sisters to wallow in the depths of starvation and despair
  • We allow all the children of the world to have an equal opportunity for education, because we cannot create an ever advancing civilization without knowledge

Look at these photographs with your inner spiritual eye and let the message come through.  They are meant to stir emotion, and hopefully, we will take an active part to make this world a better place, not only for ourselves, but also for all future generations to come.

As a Human race, we have reached a point in time to determine for ourselves if these principles given to us by Baha’u’llah, the latest Prophet of God in a long line of spiritual educators sent to mankind to guide us in our progress to build a new world order, where all the peoples of the world can live in peace, harmony and love are true.  It is up to us now to take the next step.  We are at a critical juncture in this planet’s history, to either destroy ourselves and leave nothing for our children, or create a world where we all live in peace.
